The eternal question for the last great painters was "When is the picture done"?

But there is a far more brutal selection than this in art. The art institution is based on the fact that the taste is shared, that something is decided to fall within the concept of art that one wants to convey, develop or change. So even if the criteria change, the art system is very much a "system of exclusion". If everything is art, art is dead.

A slacker artist like Terje Nicloaisen works directly and quickly. There are no visible traces of assessment processes in his drawings. He decides, takes a bet and leaves it at that. Thus, considerable amounts of drawings are generated by such an artist.
